stubborn khainites and the cauldren of blood

In one of the FAQ's the question is asked whether an assassin, who is khainite, would make a spearmen unit stubborn if he was within range of the cauldren. The answer was no because of the killer not a leader rule.

A witch elf Death Hag, in range of a cauldren is stubborn. When a stubborn character joins a non stubborn unit, the unit becomes stubborn. Does anyone agree that the Death Hag joining the spearmen unit within range of the cauldren would be stubborn thereby making the spearmen stubborn as well as they are using her leadership?

Yes thats correct. The only reason it doesn't work with the assassin is the "killer not a leader rule" which prevents units using his LD
