psychic shooting attacks ?

this is a first class noob question but this is becoming an issue at my club.

does a psychic shooting attacks require a ballistic test " Tig vortex of doomed himself yesterday"

this is a serious issue for ork wirdboys for obvious reasons .

They require a ballistic skill unless they don't. If a power says that it hits a target, or if it just tells you to place a blast template, then that's what you do, rather than rolling to hit. If a power just says it's a psychic shooting attack with profile X, then you roll to hit.
