Passing on what we've been given. It sure looks fantastic.

Apparently there might be some more odds and ends to cobble together a little Orcs and Goblins minis release that month.

Check out this image from the back of this weekend's Gamesday: Germany ticket.

You will note the product code. Azhag is on the way.

That exact photo is also on the back of a direct order booklet that the GW stores are handing out. Does anybody else think this might be a plastic kit? The wings aren't any of the standard plastic wings, and methinks it would be a bit much to make it out of metal.

The latest word from my local red-shirt is that this is an all metal model and will sell for $100 (CDN). ouch. Release will be some time in September.

Never trust a red shirt.

Never trust a red shirt.

Fair enough... and I guess it doesn't help that they were wearing those black t-shirts that say something about "everything you know is a lie".

He's on the GW site now for $99 CDN. Looks like the Red Shirt was right.

For a model that costs basically the price of a battalion box I think I will go with a battalion box instead and just green stuff my own Azhag for his price. -.-

For sure. The price on this is just too much. Not to mention...haven't giant metal models been all but rendered obsolete? I hate the few that I have. Hate them. I'd have much rather seen this model in plastic, or barring that, just sold as a resin kit on FW. I really can't imagine they're going to sell THAT many $82 US, all-metal models.

Have the original - the leg is so bent on the Wyvern that it looks like the statue of Saddam going down... WAY overpriced - happy I'm not playing orcs!

But the sculpt is great - golden deamon anyone?

I pitty any golden daemon painter who trys this due to problly a month to glue the guy, and a ungodly upkeep after painting him to keep touch ups due to him being metal the paint will chip to easy. x.x; with my goblin\orc army I have only one model metal and I never use it I go pure plastic if I can,

I won't hijack the thread..I won't hijack the thread..I won't hijack the thread..I won't hijack the thread..I won't hijack the thread..I won't hijack the thread..I won't hijack the thread.. :-)

Let's just summarize it like this: Don't agree, never will. But I know it is a question of taste and anything goes :-)

Hes a really cool model but who runs him? Who runs any O&G characters at all? Hes just not worth the points. Anyhow why release him now? No O&G armybook on the horizon and the last one is far from new.

You do realize there is about 12k players that do have a O&G army right? If not more, O&G is a really good army if you know how to play them, if not atlest a funny army to play.

I assume that is a reply to my post. I have an O&G army and I love my greenskins but I am just stating that I never, and no one on forums that I subscribe too, run special characters. Like I said he's an awesome model but he seems an illogical choice on GW's part for release at this time.

I liked the original better. Something about the logs and the cool base.
