Hey there,
I mostly collect and paint, and I like to have a unified feel to my armies. I'm not planning on building more than 1500 I think because I get bored painting the same thing all the time.
So! I really like elves. I like the look of all the DE/E models (aside from Coven stuff really). As far as fluff, I think I identify with Eldar outcasts and corsairs, but I don't really like the look of the FW stuff.
As of right now, I have about 40 elfy outcast warriors that could look like they just fell off an exploding craft world, or were kicked out of comorragh for not being evil enough. Mostly used bits from the DE black ark corsairs from FB, eldar guardians and kabalites.
My problem now is vehicles and mech. I think I could play these guys as corsairs without using the FW rules, but I own two Raiders for transports and that's it. Do you think there's a way to kitbash wave serpents and DE raiders? I feel like if play them as DE/E allies, then the troops look too DE. Any ideas? I have pics!

The idea was to have them be survivors from a fallen craftworld that settled a maiden world and mayyyybe sorta veered off the Path a bit.
