Farside Enclave: Five of The Eight

So I’ve been working on a Farsight Enclave force; I’ve been quite enjoying just doing super-detailed, reposed Crisis Suits. I’ve decided to make The Eight; I’ve only done the five of them in Crisis Suits for now, but I’m working on converting a Broadside Shas'vre Ob'lotai 9-0.

I'm planning to paint these over the next month or so; not in red, though. I'm going for a nice, grey urban camouflage. I'm going to try to simulate Cadpat designs, but I don't think I've quite got the skill to pull it off. I suppose we shall see...

How did you get it so fine like that?

I buy super-thin strips of pre-cut plasticard from the local train shop; you get 20 in a bag for £3. Then I just cut it and glue it on. If you use the tip of a scalpel instead of your finger, you can get incredible results.

They didn't look as cool on the arms. I was thinking of mounting some 'pop out' wrist punch daggers to represent them. Mostly because I remember the glory days of 'Star Wars: Republic Commando'...

YEAH REPUBLIC COMMANDO

The best thing about those was the "windshield wiper" on your visor that wiped the gore off your face after shanking someone. That was a nifty little touch from the makers - though you have to ask yourself what kind of person thinks of something like that.

Her armous has an additional layer of soot, to better convey her love of fire. Not sure if it works, but I think it looks better than it did without.
