Broadside Shas'ui [Target lock, Twin-linked high-yield missile pod, Twin-linked smart missile system]
Broadside Shas'ui [Target lock, Twin-linked high-yield missile pod, Twin-linked smart missile system]

I would say, the Tau part is easy to understand, the Shaso joins the drones or the broadside, different enemies, different combos ;)
The FoF tactic works pretty good, so i decided to take 3 of the fishtanks...i would take one more, but then i have to cancel one dp with squad.
So, thanks for ur opinions and ideas, maybe u tried sth like this before.
Greetings from Berlin and sry for my bad english :D

I'd say drop the devil fishes and just add more troops or something else, they are over costed imo.

Kroot are troops that infiltrate (so they meet the needs you're trying to reach with the mobility of transports) and a squad of 10 is easily placed for 80pts.

Also I think for what you're trying to accomplish, I'd take the points gained from a devil fish drop and put missile drones on your riptides and then toss your commander in there (and make all broadsides have target locks, so you can effectively target four units... the commander and the missile drones target one unit with his bs, and the broadsides all can target their own things, unless you plan on tossing him with sniper drones, in which case that's a waste of his bs but gives nice perks to the gun drones.)

im with ian. devilfish are over pointed - but they do have survivability !
kroot are a fair price but have no survivability !

im coming around to the large stealth teams as they can 'jump' out of harms way, have better firepower and some utility and they can take buffs from tau hq choices

after all youve got the angels for close combat work

yeah for the price of a terminator, you can get less toughness, less BS, more shots and mobility, and sometimes the same save.... unless the attack ignores cover.
