Hi folks,
I've recently been working on a very nice space wolves terminator project, and I'm enjoying myself with textures so far. It's still WIP and almost no work has been done on the metallic. What do you guys think, am I overdoing it? I can't wait to finish this project.

I kinda feel there is too much texture. It makes the whole model look a bit busy. Love the work on the face though, looks really good.

I worked a bit on the face, sharpened the eyes, added some lights on fleshtone and on top of the head, sharpened the cut and added eyebrows. What do you guys think? Anything I could work more on, or smoothen?
I'm still figuring out the best way to photograph him.

I really like it. Love the scratches on the armour: very fine detail work! Stubble around the head and face looks great and very realistic blood.

Great work!

That face is really something, so full of character. :)

Didn't see this comment, sorry! Thanks for the reply, I worked a lot on the face :). I agree that there's a lot of textures and that it may look busy, I've reduced it a bit on the mettalic. It was some kind of exploration, but I had to pull it off on every surface to make it work. Not my everyday style I must say. He's almost done now, I'll post pictures soon and you could tell me what you think?

Thanks Meph! :)

Hi folks!
The Space Wolves Terminator project is now done! I worked hard on this piece but I'm really happy with the results. I experimented a lot with chipping and textures and I learned a lot. Many people gave me feedback for the paintjob and the pictures, so thanks to you all for your support!
Hope you like him, criticism and comments are welcome :)

Really like the look. What is your method for distressing the armour?
