Hi folks.

Some of you will have seen my work in the past. I use to produce small commission forces or converted vehicles on a small scale. However I didn't take well to infantry. After a long drawn out process i found it just didn't suit my skill or interests and so I've adopted a more specialist approach.

I am, for the foreseeable future, only taking commissions which are largely or only armoured vehicles. Tank warfare on a massive scale. I've got a long standing addiction to tanks as my project zoica will verify. Since it interests me, gives me my tank fix and earns me a little bit of money to fund my three projects for the year (30k, Orks and a project i am keeping close to my chest until i have it all together) I can't see how i can go wrong.

The first or the two armies on the books for this year are Krieg tanks. The client has sent me pre-assembled tanks he wanted doing in a particular style and so i've done my best to render them in said fashion.

So let us begin the interesting part; the first two tanks that landed me the job.

I have quite a few more to paint in quite a short time but i think this work is in keeping with the krieg theme. If anyone has any feedback i'm always glad to hear it.

I'm exactly the opposite! Love the infantry but struggle with the tanks. Would love to get my act together though and complete a big batch of treaded mayhem. Think I'm spending too much time trying to magnetise for every conceivable option and just get too bogged down in it all.

Yours look good! Only feedback I can offer is that some of the silver looks a bit too shiny on some of the latter pictures. Not sure whether those bits are still work in progress or just a trick of the camera flash.

Good luck on your quest though! :)

Your paint scheme is EXACTLY how I've been wanting to paint my Krieg tanks. This is the paint scheme of my dreams. Can you please tell me what colours you used, and how you did the weathering? It would be appreciated for all eternity.

I can give you a rough overview; i use an airbrush to block out the dark grey then use making tape to make the patterning for the light grey. I then use a host of oil paint washes to darken and layer the paint before going over it with a sponge using various shades of brown and silver.

thanks guys!

Now for a few more tanks to show;

Nearing the end of this job only 6 vehicles left to do, then i'll need to find some more tanks to paint.
