Three days later and after a little TLC:

Side sponsons, frag launchers all scratch built. Assault cannon were taken from the Taurox. Multi-melta turret is converted from the back of a Vindicator and a Centurion Power Drill. The paint on the tank's right hand side was super thick and bobbly at times - it's clear the primer was applied in a damp environment. Had to spend quite a few hours scraping it off, and there's still bits of it in places. Still, overall, very pleased with the result. My Inquisition can now unload their Death Cultists/Crusaders/ Repentia allies in style.

Total build time was probably around twelve hours. Total paint time around three. Still needs a bit of MiG Urban Rubble pigment added to tracks and tank body, but it's now tabletop ready.

This feels like one of those programs,

We take your ailing motor, work some magic and return it good as new, with something extra.

You've got to put in the graft.

2 years of having the custom search 'Land'>toys and games> wargames and roleplaying on my phone's eBay app, that's how I got this bargain. Just by checking every day.

Seriously, if you wait long enough, everything comes along at exactly the price you were willing to pay. You would not BELIEVE the stuff I've gotten off eBay, just by waiting for it to show up. It's simply a case of absolute patience. Eventually, the universe will bring you what you want.

I'm waiting for the next one now. Maybe it'll be tomorrow. Maybe it'll be in ten years.

But it'll be along...

It also brings you ten thousand overpriced results in that same time...

I didn't say it was easy.

I said it worked. :)

It's like throwing a coin and getting heads ten times in a row. Anyone can do it; they've just got to keep doing it until it happens.

well I kinda know what you mean, I finnally last year managed to sneak an original Razorback off of eBay for around £9 including the postage, so your right it is possible, but sometimes they come up when I just don't have the money spare grrr....

I didn't say it was easy.

Oh, I know. I'm just grumbling. I have no idea how many "wardancer" and "eternal guard" results I've sifted through in the last few years, and it's even worse recently on account of eBay keeps mailing telling me things are "new" that it already told me about yesterday.
