Painting Competition

I know you guys are working on it, so no rush, but for the first time, I'm considering painting some models for the painting competition. I was simply wondering what type of catagories I am looking at. I've actually largely got my 40K tournament army, and only need a few more units, so I thought I would try and learn some new techniques for the competition.

I saw that last year there was 'Army'. Is that seperate from the tournament? I.E. a completely painted army that you just submit for painting? How big are we talking.

Anyway, thanks for any help. I'm still in the design phase, so no rush.

The categories are being reworked for this year. Your tournament army can be your army for the army contest as well; all the army entires for last year were played.
