Wanted to put this here to give it soem really good exposure. Saw this on naftka and played around with the engine.
Really cool, I've been using it to mock up a bunch of un-armed sci-fi civilians (something really lacking in minature ranges now anteocitis discontinued their's) for infinity.
Also mocks up some really nice and unique spec-ops models. Will be interesting to see what happens with this and its a really cool concept if it can be made financially viable.

Turns out this is another site thats already up and running.

Seems to do nice work as well, bit pricey at 15/25 a pop, but really really cool and very customizable

Interesting, the second one is vastly superior not only for a greater variety of options but because of unisex design options (ie not all high heels for ladies!). First one has some nicer poses with 2 handed weapons tho.
It's very tempting, though the limitations of the materials make me hesitant - I've gotten some stuff in the clear material from Shapeways before and it has a bit of a rough texture to it so could be a bit hard to work with but difficult to say. Still very tempted with all that customisation though...

How bad is it? I've heard that around but I cant seem to find any actual reviews

I can't say for sure it's 100% the same material, but it's the most detailed material available on shapeways and comes clear so I'd suspect it's similar:

You can see on the upper edge of the gun the fine texture to it, and on their pricing page (https://www.heroforge.com/Pricing/) the closeup of the knight has a similar grain to it.

hmm yeah, so thats the $25 per model set (heroforge goes through shapeways)....they still seem reasonably nice painted, and while Its fantastic to be able to actually make un-armed civillians....25 a pop....still, might try with two models and see...

Indeed, and if they go through Shapeways then it's almost certainly the same material. And yeah it's tempting but I want to see them first but can't until I buy one...

Out of interest DAB what would you do with civvies?
I thought about having some but then thought it would probably only involve massacre scenarios - I was thinking the airport in COD, and that probably ain't the done thing!

Infinity has really good rules for interacting with civilians. it would be really cool to have them populating boards and getting in the way etc while trying to complete your objectives around them.
It also make a lot of sense for conflicts in infinity to be able to occur where civilians are given the "cold war" / Spec Ops / security operations nature of conflicts in the infinity universe
