Well i finally got the first model of my new Tyranids done! I have decided to go for a color scheme that looks like it is from a Dark planet. I will update as i get more painted but here is the all mighty Hive Crone! (Still working on its base mind you, i am thinking of picking up some Big Crystal stones like that come in the GW Necron basing kit)

*I need to take new pictures without the flash tomorrow...*

My buddy showed me the easy way to do it after i spent 2 hours yelling at it............. Turns out a nice coat of Sotek green with a heavy dry brush of Temple Guard Blue does wonders...............

Honestly when i first started playing that was one of the coolest schemes i loved (6-7 years Ago...) so i just changed it up a bit! I am currently stuck on what color of rocks\gems to use on the base....

I don't mean to be nit picky but the inside of the vents needs paint. Perhaps in the spirit of the season you could put a tiny brand logo (Perhaps Dr. Pepper) inside, then you'd have an ad vent.

Really like the purple and blue color scheme you got going on!

Nice white tiger, have you tried throwing a wash on the talons and hooves? might just give them a bit more definition, either use a brown or a diluted purple wash

Ya i did it makes them to dark or bright sadly, So they end up looking bad with the purple\blue.

hmmm, how about a red wash? might be subtle enough for you
