Man the alpha legion one is absolutely brilliant!

I'm glad forge world are matching the brilliant graphics and art from HH Book 3, the alpha legion heraldry is easily the best so far!!

The posing here is really impressive too, the Alpha Legion looks hunched and ready to pounce while the Word Bearer is standing tall and proud, very well done.

I'm still chuffed they lead with the plain chassis first of all.

It's pretty dull by comparrison, but given Forgeworld's appeal to serious painters and modellers, it's a hellva blank canvas you get to play with.

Wonder if we'll begin to see Legion specific Contemptor Weapons.

Ohh that would be cool to see, like a giant chainaxe for the World Eaters or some form of flame cannon for the Salamanders. I'd want to see a giant sword arm and a giant spiked wrecking ball arm cos that would be a rather cool nod to Optimus Prime and Megatron from the old G1 Transformer cartoon.

I like both of these Contemptors. Are there any of the Legions covers in Books 1-3 missing their Contemptor now?
