Dark Eldar Relics

In the points list it says you can only have 1 of each relic. Right after it says any model any choose one of the following. Does that mean any model that can take items from the relic list can only have 1 from that list or any from that list as long as there are no duplicates in the army list? Thanks.

Only one from that list, and only that one model can take it in the army.
