combining dire wolf/warhound kits

I've had an idea to combine the dire wolf and warhound kits to make nurgle warhounds - are the kits compatible at all? If not, how much conversion work would be needed?

You can't really mix and match the left and right halves of different models within the kits, because of the poses. You could probably mix them within the same unit, but even then they would look fairly different. I think you're better off just choosing which you like most and using that kit only, with some conversion work.
