Looks like a page from a Shield of Baal book, all the references to tyranids etc

Yup. It's from Shield of Baal (well, Leviathan anyway)

Either way, they look aces

I'm holding a thread of hope that their inclusion in Leviathan might lead to a new kit.

I'm holding a thread of hope that their inclusion in Leviathan might lead to a new kit.

Given the previous campaign cycle was pretty much to promote the three most recent armies at the time; Guard, Orks and Space Wolves, it seems like a reasonable assumption something is up with Sisters given their inclusion in Baal. Especially when you consider that in their preview video for the first campaign book, there are photos of miniatures for every other faction involved, Guard, Tempestus and Nids, but only artwork for Sisters. Something seems to be afoot.

Though, it's not quite so clear cut this time around, because in addition to sisters we also have Guard again and specifically Tempestus Scions, neither of which seem likely to be on the block for new kits. Now, it's entirely possible they're included because what Imperial campaign isn't going to involve Guard somewhere, and them not being there would be strange. But it's not quite such a clear pattern of promotion as it was with the last bunch.

That said, fingers crossed for some new plastic Sisters kits.

I'm convinced if I hold out hope long enough new kits will come! :p

Yes, and so will 8th edition. In all seriousness, it was known that sisters were in this campaign, so the artwork shouldn't be surprising. I doubt it means anything beyond just that.

Hell, I'd love a new codex if it's decent. The last two have been beyond bad. I don't look forward to replacing my models though.

If they were making a book to sell plastic Sisters, it should do pretty well.

But then, there were Pyrovores and Possessed, too.

Nightfury, one of the blokes on naftka who has provided rumours before (and seems to be accurate if somewhat vague) is currently under the impression that a SoB codex could be coming sometime early next year.

If sisters were in plastic, I'd buy an army. $80 for one unit of 10 troops is just way too over priced for me. Needs to be closer to 1/3 of that.

Sounds about right, given how Sanctus Reach bridged things.

And I really, really hope so. Not a Sisters player myself, but variety is rarely a bad thing!

Keeping the faith. It would be most welcome. ;)

Well, if the plan is to have all the codex done in hardcover, that leaves BA and Crons. Sure, they could skip Sisters and do the ones without codex Lords of War. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened, but 2 books to make hardcover bodes well for a Sisters codex. I'd even preorder that ****, maybe Limit'd Ed.
