I'm working toward a list for my local meta, it isn't super competitive so I don't want to take just wave serpents and wraith knights so I decided to incorporate the dark kin onto the field.
Autarch w/ a jetbike and laser lance 95
Medusae w/ venom w/ extra splinter cannon 90
5 dire avengers in a wave serpent w/ scatter laser and shuriken cannon 195
5 dire avengers in a wave serpent w/ scatter laser and shuriken cannon 195
5 warriors in a venom w/ extra splinter cannon 105
5 warriors in a venom w/ extra splinter cannon 105
5 Fire dragons with a wave serpent w/ scatter laser and shuriken cannon in a venom w/ extra splinter cannon 305
5 blaster born in a venom w/ extra splinter cannon 180
6 reaver jetbikes w/ 2 cluster caltrops 126
5 shining spears 125
Wraithknight 240
Wraithknight 240
The idea is to have redundancy in almost every unit, even if the other unit isn't exactly the same thing. Like the shining spears to the reaver jetbikes or the blaster born to the fire dragons. There's nothing even close to the wraithknight on the dark eldar side, which is why it is bringing a twin. (Well, that and I just got them so I'm kind of attached.)
The autarch will go with either the reaver jetbikes or the shining spears and join them in causing melee havoc. The medusae is meant to be intimidating, I figure once she drops an AP 3 flamer on a unit of marines they'll focus fire on her. The warriors will work with the dire avengers to help control the midfield when it comes time for that. Over all it is meant to be a very fast, very hard hitting list. The blasterborn and the fire dragons will deep strike in hoping to lay waste to whatever the most important vehicle or big thing that my opponent has.
My primary concern is that I've incorporated so many extremely tough units (wave serpents, wraith knights) that the opponent will just take the venoms apart, but even if they do, that's only a couple hundred points lost. Also, kill points will be my absolute bane, having 20 in the list, and half of those being extremely easy to collect.
