I think its time that my Sisters of Battle army gets an air force.

I don't know much about Forgeworld but someone told me that there are some fighters or bombers I could get to include in a factionally pure Adepta Sororitas force.

I went on the Forgeworld site but there were no fighter jets listed under the Adepta Sororitas tab.

Does anyone know what Forgeworld rulebook I would have to buy to give my Sisters a nice airplane?

Not quite. He was probably referring to the Avenger (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Imperial_Navy/AVENGER_STRIKE_FIGHTER.html) - "The Avenger is often specifically requested by the Adeptus Sororitas should they require close support in their purgations."

It's not piloted/owned by the Sisters of Battle, it's an Imperial Navy craft that they think is pretty cool.

Still, the model would look pretty awesome with Sisters iconography on it and an Immolator gunner in place of the pilot.

As the Rev says if you want firepower the Avenger Strike Fighter is the one for Sisters.

Can fit extra weapons on this as well.

Can also use the Arvus Lighter which is a transport
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Imperial_Navy/ARVUS-LIGHTER.html

Apparently can use a Aquila Lander but I can not see that on the Forgeworld site.

No others work directly with Sisters other than Maraurders as LOW.

All the info is in Imperial Armour Aeronautica

All of these flyers are Imperial Navy so this puts Sisters in the same boat as Imperial Guard in that neither force has Flyers of their own.

You can also use the Marauder Bomber and Destroyer as a LoW. Here is the Escalation update from Forgeworld:

I don't think the Lightning (Voss or not) can be used with Sisters other than with an AM ally.

i think if i remember FW said aquilla landers are gone forever sadly

I guess I wonder rules aside, how do the sisters get vehicles to the planet are they offloaded from larger Imperial Navy landing ships or are they dropped down by T-hawk transports?
any novel readers can glean us some fluff?

In the novel Hammer and Anvil they use Arvus and Aquila Landers. They even have an Adeptus Mechanicus lab under slung below an Arvus (I think) to land it on the Surface. Don't recall any other landers been mentioned. They certainly had 6 wheeled versions of the Venator Scout Cars with them so they must have been got down somehow.
In Red and Black they used an Arvus Lighter to land troops.
In Daemonifuge they used a very big lander which hit the surface with multiple Rhino's onboard.

Guess the Imperial Navy will use whatever transport they have available. Think T-Hawk transports are purely Marines.

Waaay back in 2nd Edition, it was stated in the background that the AS had their own fleets like the Space Marines. Of course, I doubt that they have enough ships to give every detachment its own vessel, so they also requisition civilian vessels as necessary. (Can you imagine a civilian captain refusing to help the Sisters? I imagine his second in command, after cleaning up the mess, would be much more amenable to helping out the Sisters.:)) The Imperial Navy would have more discretion, ( and political muscle,) so they could get away with not transporting the Sisters on demand.
