High elf army forest theme

Hi,

Wanted to show this fantasy High elf army we are currently working on.
It has a forest theme to it with some green and white(Red for more elite units)

Super nice, and I don't even like Elves :) Beautiful work on the reds and greens, the horse is just crazy (the good kind).

This army is stunning. The hoods on the Phoenix Guard are a really nice touch. It compliments the monk side of their background really well.
Again, stunning. You've inspired me to get back to work on my own High Elves. Keep 'em coming!

Hi,

Some Great eagles we finished for this army.

I'll second that one, I have a Pegasus to paint and no real plan for the feathers!

I love theme you've got on these, the heads (from the wildwood rangers?) on the Phoenix Guard look awesome!

holy throne of the god-emperor, these minis look magnificent and I hate elves. The Dragon Princes in particular and the Phoenix Guard look fantastic. The red and greens from an excellent contrast. The hoods make the model. Well done, sir.

Thanks for the nice comments^^

I have no pictures for a guide but I hope some text might help a little:

Base
Black primer
Base Coat with airbrush : armor brown(VMA)
then I paint the highlights in khaki brown(VMA)
next I wash the whole model in agrax earthshade(GW) I use alot of wash at this point.
when the model is dry I do an extremely light dry brush with white Baneblade Brown(GW)

then i paint the Tip end of the wings black with Airbrush.
Next I paint the head and tail in VMC Sand(ivory) with the airbrush
I wash the white part with agrax earthshade a thin cote this time

then final highligt I use VMC Ivory for the white

the beak is painted in Averland Sunset wash it with Reikland Fleshshade then paint it again in Averland Sunset
and final highlight Yriel Yellow.

VMA= valejo model air
VMC= valejo model color
GW= games workshop paints
