Triaros Armoured Conveyor now up for pre-order at a princely £85 (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/TRIAROS_ARMOURED_CONVEYER.html)

It's a bit Batmobile. But betterer!

The Triaros is the primary armoured battlefield transport of the Mechanicum Taghmata during the era of the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy. Eschewing the more commonplace STC designs, it relies on a number of unique technologies held as arcana by the Magos Autokrator and never divulged for wider Imperial use, even by the Legiones Astartes.

Designed for use in hostile environments, it incorporates multiple galvanic traction drives and its defences are comprised not merely of brute armour, but layered techno-cant wardings and interlocking energy shields, particularly around its seemingly exposed control dais, as well as independently animated weapons servitors.

Designed by Stuart Williamson, the Triaros Armoured Conveyer is a complete multi-part resin kit and is available to pre-order now for despatch from Friday 26th September.

Gotta say once again, Forgeworld continue to deliver the goods for Mechanicum! This is going to make my wallet cry!

I think ...I like it a lot.

It looks like quite a lump.

The other pics show the kit itself - looks nice and easy to assemble.

It looks rather simple to assemble and if it was made in plastic I'm sure it would fly off the shelves. Shame the mold(sp?) costs so much.

I love it, but you can totally tell they designed it without really thinking where the guns would go;) Particularly the bolt cannon turret - very 'stuck-on' looking, I'd relocate it to the roof of the rear compartment if I got one.

This being forgeworld, I wonder what variant versions they'll make - those side doors are just crying out for some crazy experimental sponson weapons.

Oh, and since noone else seems to have posted them yet: experimental Knight castigator rules are up as well:

Heavy 8 S7 Ap3 gun and a S10 Ap2 sword with the volkite special rule and a 'auto-hit everything in base contact' special attack (also with deflagrate?)

Could make a decent Cult Limo with a little work.

Certainly has the art deco curves for it.

And yes, gonna save some pennies and give into the Mechanicum!

Where are the access points?

Are there doors, or do they just teleport the troops in and out?
