Crusader conversions ...

Here are my acolyte Crusaders equipped as standard w Power Weapon and Storm Shield. I used the Cadian models as my other acolytes are such and it was better suited to my theme. Additional parts aside from Cadian bodies are modified Cadian backpacks, Empire shields, Grey Knight Falchions as PW's and guitar wire for power cables to 'amp' up the look of the shields.

Sorry for the quality of the photos, I was outside and it was overcast so the lighting was poor.

Apart from the heads, I really like these, especially the storm shield conversions. The Cadian heads just don't match though. Have you considered maybe the Militarum Tempestus heads, or maybe some hooded ones? I mean, obviously, if you like 'em, just ignore me. :)

I agree! I haven't thought of alternate heads, I just went with what was in the bitz box. I have to have them ready for an upcoming tourny next week so i fast tracked them because I have to get painting. I'll look at the Tempestus heads on the GW site, Thanks!

P.S. I just looked at the Tempestus Scions heads and they are much better, i haven't even seen those models! Hmmm, losing touch! Thanks for the input.
