So my first crack at an army list from the new dex.
Currently this army is well under construction.
So here we go
HQ
Hive tyrant, hive commander, old adversary - 220
Swarmlord - 280
2 tyrant guard - 120
TROOPS
15 gaunts - 75
15 gaunts - 75
16 gaunts - 80
Tervigon, onslaught - 180
ELITES
2 zoanthropes, mycetic spore - 160
2 zoanthropes, mycetic spore - 160
Deathleaper - 140
HEAVY SUPPORT
Mawloc - 170
Mawloc - 170
Mawloc - 170
TOTAL 2000 points
Because of both tyrants ability to +1 to the reserves rolls my mawlocs turn up on a 2+ on turn 2.
Just want to know if anyone sees any room for improvement.
I already have the basic hive tyrant, the tyrant guard, the gaunts, 3 zoanies and deathleaper, have held back on the tervigon conversion so far.
I'm still not sure about running the lone tervigon and I'm considering replacing him with gargoyles (when upgraded with toxin sacs they can be serious MC hunters, any 6's on a roll to hit is a wound and poisoned attacks on a 4+, if that were my daemon price I would be scared :P). Only problem with these guys, is that due to there speed I will have to be careful about leaving synapse range, or lose something else in the army to buy a shrike brood (not so keen on this idea)
Also not to sure if old adversary is worth it yet, but will soon find out.
