Having expunged most of the remaining organic material in his body the Archmagos known as Draykavac has a fearsome reputation, thinking nothing of sacrificing thousands of lives to further his knowledge and understanding. When the Heresy broke out, Draykavac and his followers joined the Warmaster in his war against the Imperium, allowing him greater freedom to research forbidden technologies.

This model also comes with an alternate head that can be used to represent a Magos Prime and an Abeyant to lead any Mechanicum force. The model includes weapon options for the Abeyant: graviton gun, conversion beamer, rotor cannon and irad cleanser.

Designed by Mark Bedford and Rob Macfarlane, Archmagos Draykavac / Magos Prime is available to pre-order now and will be despatched from Friday 26th September.

You can download a construction guide for assembling Archmagos Dravkavac, here. You can also view a video gallery of the model here.

I'm not liking the skullhead nogging, but the cloaked one - absolutely love that.

Skullhead is just too associated with Space Woofs for me. Could be a decent conversion part though, see as you get both!

Totes agree. On both points.
I think I'm just gonna use the Toughest girls of the galaxy Nepharya figure for my magos.

Also, in the guide to how to build it actively encoruages you to bend the one set of cables and how this can best be done.

I prefer the skullhead myself, it reminds me of the early rogue trader art that depicted the admech as something weirder and more HR Giger-esque. It's good you get a choice though, and also glad he has cables trailing as opposed to boring legs, leaves more to the imagination. Hope they do more weirder stuff like this..

Also, here is the piece of RT artwork I was refering too :

Yes! Asymmetrical Xeno got there first - it's exactly why I love the skull head too. It's the first, actual, proper AdMech EVER to match the very first piece of Rogue Trader artwork.

Superb.

And doesn't look too hard to scratchbuild...
