I've been in the hobby for about three months. Here's a few I've done trying to learn different methods.

I'm no expert, despite having a lot more than three months under my belt. I think both look pretty good for a newcomer, though the Bloodletters look better (imho). Some of the texture looks a bit weird on the Plaguebearers particularly.

I don't know what you use, but I'd guess that your paints may be too thick and that you should be thinning them (water will work fine for acrylics like GW, though you can buy paint thinners). Also it looks like a wash might help provide some shading and definition.

Definitely a good start. Advice from me is to use some subtle highlighting. Its tough starting out, and you want to make everything super high contrast so everyone can see your work, but devil's in the details. As you get deeper in, and your paint collection grows, you'll start to mix and add extra colors to your work. Like I said though, its definitely a great start, keep it up!
