In deference to the friend that I played, I let him see my army before he even made his army list. I also put a large mount of terrain on the board -- forming a shanty town on our nice battle mat -- with lots of LOS-blocking stuff. We ended up playing "Purge the Xenos" (Kill points), deployment was Hammer & Anvil (short board edge), and he played with his Blood Angels. His army consisted of:

Mephiston (Using all Telepathy?...whichever one gives you Invisibility)
Dante
Sanguinary Guard + Apothecary
2 x Assault Squads with melta guns
1 x Vanguard Vet Squad with metla gun
Contemptor Dreadnought + Drop Pod
1 x Vindicator
2 x Stormravens with lascannon, missiles, and melta

I won with 12 points to his 4. He killed four tanks and wounded the Riptide. I got Slay the Warlord, First Blood, and eliminated all his units except for the two flyers -- of which I successfully damaged one to its last hull point before the end of the game.
