Here he is, up for pre-order. £55 to you, squire. (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/VULKAN_PRIMARCH_OF_THE_SALAMANDERS.html)

Really nice paint job - and I'm wondering if that detailing on the armour might be sculpted.

An indomitable warrior whose strength in battle was tempered by the depth of his wisdom, Vulkan was sire to the Salamanders Legion and its paragon. In war, his fury was a match for any of his brothers, and yet was ever mastered by a keen understanding for the destruction he caused and the power and dread responsibility he and his Legion carried as Angels of Death. In all his undertakings Vulkan ever sought to limit needless and wanton destruction, seeing in that a path to ruin and desolation of the soul, shouldering whatever hardship this might bring him or his sons without complaint and absorbing the wisdom such suffering brought, allowing it to forge him into an ever better protector for the growing Imperium. But like the fires of the deep earth, that wellspring of savage power slept but was never extinguished, to be called on when needed, as implacable and devastating as the fires of the turbulent world he called home.

Vulkan, Primarch of the Salamanders, is a complete multi-part resin kit that includes a removable scenic base. Model designed by Simon Egan. The rules for Vulkan can be found in The Horus Heresy Book Two - Massacre and The Horus Heresy Legiones Astartes: Isstvan Campaign Legions books. A video about how Simon went about making Vulkan is available here.

certainly looks better than my first impression - still not my favourite (can't put my finger on any specific reason why...), but a worthy primarch nonetheless

I think he's the first just to look 'big Space Marine', rather than more distinguished from his rank and file.

Serious Answer: You'd probably survive, but suffer lifelong muscle (and probably bone) damage :/

Silly answer: Ever heard of a Ramen Diet? ;)

I managed to get my hands on him during Manchester ComiCon last month. I had a lot of fun painting him and I would say that the only concern I have with him is that the scenic base is in two parts so it is a bit wonky at places because it doesn't connect properly

Having survived several Ramen diets watch the salt and msg! This diet can make your heart do funny things. :(

depends how much weight you're carrying. The downside is once you start eating again your body will pile on fat incase of another food shortage...

I reserved the right to like this model with more pictures, and those have meted out my hope! I do like him very much, and just like Angron the love of detail put into the cloak is really quite spectacular. I think they did him justice, and I continue to tip my hat to FW.

Supposedly he's part of a linked scene with Night Haunter? Depending on where the evil batman goes, the hand might work better.
