I was building some zombie guardsmen when I realised that I could make a decent Ghostbuster out of one of them
I used a SM scout's head with goggles and the body from the Tank commander bitz. The proton pack is a voxcaster stripped down with the front part of a chimera spotlight glued on. I used the base of the leftover vox antenna to make the tip of the gun. This is a IG flamer cut down heavily to resemble the handle as it is in the films. I made the trap with a lascannon battery from the IG heavy weapons box. I just cut the handle in half and repositioned it

Paint wise it's nothing special. I started with a scorched brown coat and a second coat of calthan brown foundation.
This is the first conversion I've posted. What do you think?

LOL! LMAO!!! That's GREAT!

I think that's a very good job, you should make all of them (including Vince) and use them as a stormtrooper squad whenever you play against Daemons. Hats off to you on both the idea and the execution.

The new Elysian Tauros Venator could be their Ecto-1.

But what would be Slimer?

Wow. i seriously wasnt expecting such a great reception for him. Thanks everyone. :)
I am considering making the full team, but I'm fresh out of IG bitz at the moment. I'll try and get some together soon and post the whole Ghostbusters team.
Any suggestions for something else to use as the round part of the pack? I don't have anymore chimera spotlights left.

Maybe a converted Ork Grot? I think that could work...

Great googly moogly. That's one insane looking miniature. Very nice. Very nice. Now, can I use my Stay Puffed Marshmellow Man as a Bloodthirster?

I need the tank commander body from the tank accessory sprue. But they're £8 a go for one guy and a load of tank bitz I really don't need. Anyone know of a cheaper alternative?

OK Soulfire you win...

Get me the GBs 4-man crew up against some horrors on the tabletop, and you have a BoLS pic of the day!

OMG. This is gonna take time, money and effort. I'm in. I might even 'pimp out' a chimera.

I, for one, eagerly await updates on Inquisitor Venkmann and his ongoing battle with daemon prince Vince Clortho, the keymaster of Gozer.

Thanks for the offer david5th, but I've secured the parts I need. Just need to pick them up at the end of this week. :) I use plastic tank commander off the tank accessory sprue. I find it works best as he's already in a jumpsuit. If anyone has some of their own, I'd love to see them have a go at the conversion too. Message me if you'd like a more detailed step-by-step.
