Imperial Knight Seneschal Banner

Because I now have 3 Imperial Knights finished I decided my Power fist knight needed to be promoted to Seneschal.
So he needed tarting up more. He needed a Banner and a name;

I was thinking about using that hole in the top of the armour for a banner but you have me sold. What was the bit that you used as the base and did you use brass rod?
