If your up against tau it may well be worth the points, but mostly it's not as you have that lovely jink save now.

On another not you can put a shokk attack gun on a bike. Hehe usless madness.

jink is a cover save, kustom force field is a invulnerable save.

I dunno.....you can use Turbo Boost to get that KFF where it's needed, when it's needed. That's pretty tasty that.

This, this, this, this. The KFF Mek on a bike is a great way to have a foot-long bubble of 5++ to cover a decent number of surrounding Trukks and Battlewagons. 4++ if you take the Mek from the Ghazgkhull supplement. Makes for a pretty hard set of Speed Freeks.

It's also pokey for foot slogging hordes, Kan hordes, in fact anything. Take two, and confound your opponent! Hell he can more than keep pace with your otherwise fragile open topped Trukks. One Big Mek on bike with KFF, and two Trukks loaded up with non-Boy unit, and with boarding planks? Luvverly!

Spesh as the Turbo Boost can be used to keep the Big Mek out of line of sight, or neatly tucked up the back of a unit to save his gnarled hide!

this is where i started with the big mek,
then tried to toughen him up with the kff,
then thought about a horde to hide him in,
then thought.... wait a minute.

this unit could be a fifty caliber single shot hunting rifle.

and it appears that vehicles have a 4+ save afforded by the kff,
where the bike only has a 5+...>>>
