Crimson Slaughter hobby project

I'm working on a new army but focusing more on painting and converting than gaming for now. My plan is a Crimson Slaughter force with a strong core of possessed, backed up down the line with cultists, spawn etc.

With various ebay lots and bits orders I'm now approaching 30 possessed built. Anyone with experience painting drooling maws and warp charged claws please drop me your painting tips! Pictures to follow shortly.

The majority are still unpainted with a few primed as I've been assembling in batches. A few more not pictured are almost ready - just require a bit more gold and a few coats of blood.

Aaaaand here they are - my first batch of possessed. They're a mix of several 40k and Fantasy kits to give them plenty of variety and weird limbs.

They look great. I love the variety of conversions. Are they raptor heads mixed in? I like th power fist wielding champion the most, he turned out really well.

Thanks! Very astutely observed. There are bits from marines, raptors, forsaken, berzerkers and regular marines as well as lots of possessed legs/torso and (soon to come) a beautiful daemon standard.
