Looking for a fast way to pick out a "random" model, be it from Perils of the Warp or some other effect.. I have experimented with one method, and I've been trying to get other people on board as well. Most people like it.
So picture this: 10man unit of Grey Knight terminators is all staggered and what-not in cover, and one suffers Perils of the Warp. Roll a scatter dice next to the unit and pick whichever model appears to be furthest away in the direction the arrow is pointing.
Seems pretty solid, without resorting to a numbered d6 (or whatever) roll. Reasonable?
