Hello,

Wanted to start a project log here for my World eaters. I picked up these models at Adepticon this year and just got started putting paint down a couple weeks ago and wanted to share. I was very intimidated of painting an army white, but feel like I've gotten it down, with a little help from my weathering friend.

Please feel free to comment and offer suggestions, because I'm wanting to get them right. I'll continue to share progress of the project as I move along.

First, a finished shot of my first tactical squad. A lot of this squad was testing the waters of the color scheme and I 've decided that the next infantry models will need some brightening in the blue areas and I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do the bolters - the blue is a little dark on these. Good news though, all 10 of these models are magnetized to swap out with all manner of special weapons (have not been painted).

And here is their ride. Started putting paint down on this the other day and was pleased to get it done fairly quickly.

Again, comments and suggestions are very welcome! Thanks for the space to share!

I have a blog with more information, as well as additional projects and a couple tutorials. And the blog also has a facebook page. I'm going to put the links below and I'll put them in my signature as well.

Thanks again

Weathering looks fantastic, what other units do you plan to add?

These look excellent, nice realism and an army I've been interested in for awhile. My only critique is the touch of over spray on the rhino. The blue panels have a little here and there that a bit more masking would have prevented. Other than that it's pretty much a nice paint scheme.

I agree with Deadlift, they look great but the tank does look a bit odd with that oversprayed blue.

Some more progress. Sorry for the delay. I've been updating my facebook page often, but its hard to get to the forums at times. Here are the latest finished models, a Sicarian and another Rhino, which I like better... and have started referring to as the Rhino 2.0. lol. C&C Welcome!

So yeah... its been a while. Moving caused a big delay for me since everything was packed and my painting space was limited. BUT. I finally started back on this project. Decided to start with a bang and spent the last couple weeks painting up Angron. Here you go!

nice work, I like the unhealthy pallor you've given him, it suits him well.
