Quite nice, and potential for a more feral style of Marine for other Chapters, Legions and Renegades, depending on how you paint them (got it in my head bright orange armour, very dark scales)

And some Salamander heads. Mix of armour marks this time. Also £11 a chuck (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/SALAMANDERS_HEAD_UPGRADE_SET.html)

Great heroes of the Salamanders who have fallen in battle and whose sacrifice has been deemed worthy may find that death is not the end of their service to the Imperium. Born again in the sarcophagus of a Contemptor Dreadnought, wrought by the Legion artificers on Notcture, they my once again purge the foes of the Emperor with flame and fury.

The Salamanders Contemptor Dreadnought is a complete multi-part resin kit, designed by Israel Gonzalez. This kit is available to pre-order now and will be despatched from Monday 30th June. Please note that the weapon arms shown on some images are sold seperately and not included.

How is it a complete kit if it doesn't have any arms?

For those who haven't built one, and are considering a purchase, I cannot praise the Contemptor kit highly enough.

So many pose options. Shoulders, waist, hips and ankles are all ball and socket. Upper arms attach by disc and socket to the shoulder joints, which are wedges that glue to the shoulder pad. Elbows and knees really flexible, with the kneecaps and shoulder equivalents being separate pieces entirely. And that's before you get onto the weapons themselves. Guns are about as static in design as you might expect, but the power fists and claws? Individually digits attach to an actuator ring, which can be mounted in absolutely any position. Auxillary weapon is mounted in the palm, with it's ammo on the fist body,

For the price difference between a plastic Dread and a fully kitted Contemptor, you get a far superior kit, if less weapon options overall (though it's my general experience that people tend to stick to a set weapon load out, no matter how easy it is to switch them around on plastic Dreads)
