Greetings, all! I've been making some progress with getting my Nurgle Marines/Daemons army painted, and I thought I would share!

Daemon Prince of Nurgle (or, "The Toothfairy")

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/40K/Nurgle038.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/40K/Nurgle038.jpg.html)
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/40K/Nurgle027.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/40K/Nurgle027.jpg.html)

A mix of sculpting and epic kitbashing, this is a creature that rose from my bits boxes. I used a River Troll as an armature, and built up from there. Wings have Tyranid bits and wire, covered in Uhu glue for the tattered chitin effect. I'm really happy with how he came out, overall.

Typhus
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/Typhus016.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/Typhus016.jpg.html)
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/Typhus019.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/Typhus019.jpg.html)
Another kitbash ******* child, this one started life as a SM Terminator Chaplain. Add some GK bits and sculpting, and he became my warlord. He is abnormally unlucky, and almost always ends the game as a Spawn after having rolled ones for his daemon weapon.

Plague Zombies
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/40K/Nurgle088.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/40K/Nurgle088.jpg.html)

What Typhus lacks in luck, the zombies have it in droves. These tough *******s are always last on the table, no matter what they come up against. Magnificent tarpit.

Harold the Herald, and the three Plaguebearers I have painted-

Pretty much stock.

Plague Drones-
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/40K/Nurgle064.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/40K/Nurgle064.jpg.html)
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/popg0estheworld/40K/Nurgle070.jpg (http://s11.photobucket.com/user/popg0estheworld/media/40K/Nurgle070.jpg.html)
Same wings as the Daemon Prince, with some sweet color-shifting chitin (which never photographs as cool as it looks in real life, for obvious reasons).

Lots more to follow- a couple of units of Plague Marines, Obliterators, Rhinos, and defense lines with a distinctly Nurgly feel. Thanks for looking!

Stunning, very very nice crisp yet suitable gross paint scheme you have. I would love to play against such a beautiful army.

Rotten, rusty goodness. Papa Nurgle must be proud :)

How did you achieve the wings on your daemon prince? They look great!

Also a big fan on your Heldrake conversion (I'm not a fan of the Space Dragon aesthetic at all)

Thanks! For the wings on the Daemon Prince, I used some parts from the Tyranid Tarragon to make the main "spine," then used some wire to create the secondary spines. I then took some Uhu glue (the German blend that isn't available for retail in the U.S.) to make all of the little ancillary bits. Getting the German glue is the hard part- the rest of it is actually really easy.
