$284.63 (US) for a nerfed-before-release model? Ahahahaha!

We use big boy words here on BOLS.

I'm liking it's Lance. Very nice with the Concussive shots just before the charge!

It looks great and the rules look like a lot of fun, what's not to like?

How do you figure it’s been nerfed? Those are the exact same rules that were previewed when this thing showed up at the Horus Heresy Weekender?

In other news: I freaking love the Cerastus Knight-Lancer, I can’t wait to add one or two to my Imperial Knights army, probably as my Seneschal Warlord.

Does anyone understand what the Cerastus part means btw? Is Cerastus the Knight House it belongs to? Is it the Forge World pattern like Mars or Lucius-pattern? Is Cerastus a specific type of chassis for Knights?

In the video about sculpting it they refer to the Cerastus as the chassis, and that they'll be using that chassis to produce more variant Knight types

There were some seen at the HH Weekender, one with a fist and a flame weapon I believe.

That is a really lovely model, the 360 spin in the video shows it off wonderfully. Fun rules for it too. If I could afford to get one I would as it looks like it'd be a lot of fun to build, paint and play with.

Right because people buy FW stuff for the rules.

I'll be grabbing one once I've finished these two Knights, he'll look good spearheading my Knight army thats for sure.

I'm going to be in the UK this July and August, so I may very well have to pick one up while I'm over there. Sure, it's double the price of a regular Knight, but it's also a lot bigger, and I'd rather have the variety over taking yet another regular Knight who only varies from the others in its right arm (With any luck they'll also release the Knight Castellan and Knight Crusader sooner rather than later so I can have a well rounded Knight army). Not to mention that I think it'll make for a pretty killer choice for the Seneschal leading an Imperial Knight force. Now if only they'd clarify how the Ion Shield improvement for the Seneschal interacts with the Ion Gauntlet Shield on the Knight Lancer.

Dude, if you're about in Nottingham 4/5 July, pack an army, and you can give my Necrons a run up at Warhammer World.

Hah, I wish. I'll be in London for three days in mid-July, then go back around August 6th and spend five days working my way from London to Glasgow. I do think I'll see about visiting Warhammer World on the way, though.

Defo worth a visit! And there's quite a pleasant canal side walk from central Nottingham out to where WW can be found.
