Question about the Valkyrie and shooting! You can almost always shoot at the Valkyrie because of its (high) flying base its mostly visable. But what if the Valkyrie shoots? For example: I want to shoot at a unit of marines and can draw a line of sight, but infront of them stands a scout squad. Can i ignore the scout squad and shoot directly at the marines (and claim no cover save) because the Valkyrie is "a tall" model and you technicaly dont shoot trough the scouts!

True line of sight. Can you see at least half of the models in the target squad (completely see them, toenails and all?). No cover save for the marines, then.

The Valk's tall base is a double edged sword. The vehicle often doesn't get a cover save, but it can also ignore a lot of cover that something closer to the ground would have to fire through.

Core rule book page 21 and 22 state that if a model has a clear line of sight and can see completely over intervening cover or models it's shooting does not grant a cover save. So for most cases you will not get cover from a Valkyrie shooting at you.

Use line of sight and you'll do just fine.
