New Space Marine Dataslate and boxed army!

Just received an email from GW, remember that Space Marine Terminator Captain that was doing the rounds?

It appears he is part of a new Datslate and army box called "Strike Force Ultra" and it turns out he's plastic as well,

it's up for pre order now at £190

And there's an IG set up as well

I wonder if these are the successors to "battleforces" ? They remind me of the old "army boxes" they used to do, but these seem a bit more specific. I remember the Command squad had the exclusive chaplain, seems like they are doing something similar but for a larger amount of models by including the terminator captain.

The golden demon art on the paints sets boxes is pretty funny I thought. They even bothered to make it holding things in different poses and change the facial expressions slightly.

took a good look at the sets, I like that the Termy Cap can be modified with different right arms and that the head will fit on any modern plastic termy helmets instead.

Also I really like the artwork on those paint boxes, infact I may get the base layer and layering sets soon, I need some new paints....

The only reason I ask is that the plastic Terminator Captain is equipped with a Relic Blade, and the White Dwarf also states it's a Relic Blade.... but Termi Captains can't have Relic Blades.....

Am I missing something or is there something in the data slate?

Heh just noticed on the Strike Force Ultra's page that they have the wrong type of Land Raider as the close up pic of the vehicle, should be a Crusader/Redeemer but the pic is of a Godhammer pattern. Not a bad set that though, wish I could afford it as that's a pretty decent saving which amounts to a free Stormraven basically.

It's based somewhat on a fighter pilot's airmask, though it does kind of make him look like Jaws biting a steel cable....

Got the dataslate today, the Captain (and in this formation you can swap him for Lysander) can be equipped with itemjs from the special wargear section of the codex as well as items from the relic wargear section as well....
