Dark Eldar Special Weapons

I've just started dark eldar army and i was wondering what you do for shredders and blasters since they don't seem to be available for warriors anymore.

I actually meant the models not the rules. The reason i won't use wyches is that i dont like the models so im holding of on that front until the new codex which will take a while :D

blasters are str8 ap2 weapons (? not sure may be 1) that i believe are like lance weapons but i cant recall off the top of my head and yes warriors can use them.. shredders i dont even bother with...

but your better off doing a wytch cult then a warrior cult fyi imo

i agree i used female eldar torsos and used DE legs and heads to custom make my own stripper wytches they look much better

But do you have any conversion ideas for Blasters and Shredders (i think they will become viable against the new horde tyranids).

I use the shorter, non-bladed weapons from the warrior box as blasters. I think they look much more like the 'mini-dark lance' technology that the fluff describes, and I do it consistently across my army so there is no confusion. I also paint them in the same scheme as my dark lances and disintigrators, which is different to my splinter weapons.

The horrible blunt bulky blasters get turned into shredders by sticking a plastic blade on each side. Not had much luck finding a suitable base weapon for them, though, I don't use them much.

hmm, that's an interesting idea, maybe i could use the splinter pistol with two blades attached as a shredder
