I'm looking in to starting a 30k mechanium army and i like the tech thrall unit in theory, however i'm not thrilled with forgeworld's models for them. i was wondering if any one knows of some good third party models for tech thralls. especially models to represent alchemical revenants (basically technological zombies)

thanks for the help

Hmmm... of the top of my head, Victoria Lambs penal legion comes to mind. Dave tayor did some up as AdMec workers.

You could easily pick and choose from that set, through in some zombie arms, or bionic heads could look pretty nice.

The Iron brother hood eilite guys look very vat grown zombie esque. exposed flesh and tubes all over the place.

I actually have a few of the non skittarii clamp-hand ones, the arms are separate bits, so you can give something else. Very creepy looking doods.

Or Vraks rebel torsos with zombie arms, I got a pic of some guys army with them. kind goofy, but mostly because its the GW zombie sprue, I'd try manics.

Or you can Green Stuff up a kit bash of IG + zombie spure + bionic heads. I have done a few of those, made of of extra parts, they look ok.

Produs' Cybertronic Chasseurs are perfect IMO.

Here are mine:

As for other technological zombies, good luck. I've been searching since 2007 and these are the only things I've found that are remotely close to good.

They are Etoiles Mortants, again from Produs.

The one above was from the Kickstarter; the new ones have much more dynamic poses. However, I replaced the arms the models came with with Dark Eldar Wych ones, because the original arms were abjectly terrible. Thin, poorly posed, goofy looking. The new sculpts seem much better.

If you're interested in female Imperial Guard, might I suggest these:

They're perfectly 40K scale, and fit both Cadian and Space Marine bodies perfectly. Not to mention, the sculpting is just incredible.

DAMMIT!!!

Now I have something else to look at. I wish RH would release the pledge manager already. They're killing me.

Actually, I really like those Cybertronic Chasseurs. I'm also a fan of Victoria Lamb's stuff in general. Purely in the interests of contributing something new to the thread, you might also want to look at Privateer Press's upcoming Cephalyx faction:

I'm still a big fan of the Strain models from Sedition Wars.

Individual (resin) models direct from Studio McVey:

or the boxed game with plastics (widely available):
