Due to all units being able to score in 7th edition how's this for a army also due to the Explode result is being moved to +7 dice roll this makes dreadnaughts more viable now.

Iron Hands Chapter Tactics

Master of The Forge as HQ
2 troops of scouts Adeptus machanicus themed
3 Venerable Dreadnaught Heavy Support
3 Ironclad Dreadnaughts Elites
3 Imperial Knights
Imperial Bastion with Quad-gun

So how does it look?

Looks juicy, but you lost me at the Imperial Knights.

I'd rather drop the knights, get another Master of the Forge and as many Tech Marines as you can take, and throw them into Razorbacks with tac squads with special weapons.

Then maybe throw in one Knight. It'd be more fun to play, look more like a true Mechanicus list (with highly mobile, tough troops supported by techmage leaders).

If I brought that sort of list to a table at my FLGS, I'd just lose my friends for fielding 3 Knights, so that's just me.

I run a almost full Dreadnought army for my Blood Angels. A Reclusiarch, a BIG squad of Death Company, a few Death Company dreads for the rest of your troops (1 for every 5 death company), Furioso's as Elites and then normal dreads as heavy. Fun to play and with 7th edition might be tough to beat too :D
