I was watching the third installment of being bored to death by jervis prattling on about the new psychic phase when i saw this shot - and the apparently new looking termie captain... thoughts, is it a kit bash, because i cannot find a kit that looks similar. and pardon the writing, my ork paint daemon came out to play

And Jervis is never boring, that man is a force for good who knows more about tabletop gaming than anyone else GW has, he's worth his weight in gold.

I had the good fortune to be knocking about Warhammer World for the release of 8th Edition Warhammer, when Jervis wandered through Bugmans, about to give a completely impromptu seminar on the new edition. Sadly, as I was eating a particularly potent Curry, much suffering ensued. But the talk was good.

And that's defo a new model.

He's excellent, I've spoken to him many times and the guy just adores tabletop games, not even just GW games, all games, but yes, he can get a little drone-y, not in the Tau way.

I love Jervis, but his voice doesn't do a great job of getting across his genuine massive enthusiasm.

My question is: When is GW going to come out with more Power Axe and Power Lance models? It's always Sword or Fist, and the occasional Maul.

That sword does look particularly nice though- reminds me of the Emperor's Champion sword. I find there are plenty of GW power axes, although more Chaos ones than Imperial ones, and FW has plenty too, but power lances are seriously under represented. As far as I know it is just the White Scars biker captain that has one. More lances would definitely be cool. To be honest, more options for Guardsmen would be great too, they only seem to be able to get swords.

So a frontpage article said this guy was going to be a web exclusive involved in 7th edition bundles, but with preorders up now he's still nowhere to be seen. Hmm.
