i roll TL BL on my serpents - but thats just me!
and never a fan of chin guns but if you have the scatter lazer then they get TL so fair enough.

since your kabz are just there as a minumum for a few points extra you could take whyches with haywire grenades [12pts instead of 9] just to give some more anti vehicles threat. [cos the four scatter serpents give you plenty of anti infantry/A12<]

the great thing about the wychy squad is they can get out and 'hide' on objective if no vehicles to hunt and the venom can then act as a 'buff' for your locks or a 'poison weapon' platform without losing any occupants.

i once pinned an entire foot tau army [odd gunline army list] at 42" by just running 4 venoms with cannons [3 with 2 extra kabcannon]
the wyches that i had floating around were as good a deterent against the hammerheads as any anti tank unit costing 3x or 4x the points; but it was a freaky game.
