I've finished some of my Space Hulk termies as non-Blood Angels, so thought I'd share some pics:

http://collegiatitanica.blogspot.com/2010/01/de-blood-angeld-space-hulk-terminators.html for the full lot of pics.

And some 'action' shots for your viewing pleasure:

Very nice. I like the colors on the bridge of the nose. Is this denoting them as Rainbow Warriors? I first thought Ultramarine but seeing that, I thought otherwise.

Very nice, I really like the ‘action’ shots

Yep, Rainbow Warriors is correct. Took me a while to come up with a simple to paint and aesthetically pleasing method of doing the helmet stripes, because they do look very much like Ultras without them.

The action shots are 'illustrations' for the Hulk campaign I'm (slowly) writing. Almost done, only 20 mission intros to write and various bits of filler.

Fantastic pictures mate. Well done. Really inspiring stuff. I'm glad rainbow warriors are getting some loving.

I think it was very well executed on the striping. One has a shoulder pad that looks like it has more colors. I'd be interested in knowing/seeing if it does.

During 4th Ed, I'd toyed with the idea of doing Rainbow Warriors as my 400 pt Kill Teams unit. I'll probably do them for an Apoc unit.

Gad you liked the pics I enjoy shooting them, though it can be a bit fiddly to get the exposures right and compose the shot when everything is so confined.

The chapter's fun to paint, and I'm not bound by any pre-exisiting background so I can do what I like :)

Here you go:

(noticing the blue going onto the wreath there, need to fix that up later)

The Sergeant holding the genestealer head has extra stripes on her fist because I started painting them too thin and had space left over, whoops!
Otherwise the Sergeants and officers have (or will have) a unique colour scheme on their shoulder guards. Normal marines go with plain blue with chapter badge, mostly to preserve my sanity.

Very nice free hand work on those. I like hte striped one over the silver skull eagle.

Nice pics... Though I think it is complete heresy to 'de-blood angel, anything.

All in all they are looking great, it must have taken a long time to get all the BA stuff off of them.

Hey Duke, Not everything can be as cool as our Blood Angel stuff. Them others need some new-hotness every once in a while :-)

Well the Imperium needs guys who won't suffer a 99.5% fatality rate for the whole Chapter every time a hulk comes along (and still not get the job done) ;)

Getting the Blood Angel stuff off wasn't too hard in most cases. The worst was the shield on the heavy flamer - any left over blood drops aren't BA icons, they're Medallion Crimson honour badges ;) Some were just too hard to reach, like the lightning claw dude's right shoulder.

But they are too good models to pass up, and I've got a second set I could paint up as Blood Angels later.
