Just so I get this right when you take a tank commander you pay the points for him, and then you purchase a tank of choice and then at least one more tank.
So basically you can take up to 15 leman russes in one force org chart.
Is that correct?

Yup but at 15 Leman Russ you are most likely already at Double Force Org(unless they are all eradicators) so may as well go all out and go for 30 of them with a Baneblade or two

Actually, you can almost fit 15 naked Russes in an 1850 list. Not quite, but almost.
