Green stuff greater knarlok

I just LOVE great knarloks, but i didnt want to pay FW and wait a month, so I made it. Its name is Lily, and its the "horsie" of my D&D (Darksun) PCs. Isn`t it cute? Its like a bald chick! ^^

Yup that's insanely good... it never even crossed my mind that it wasn't the orginal model when I saw the painted pics in your other thread, I'm no knarloc expert but still that's amazing

By the God-Emperor! I am usually verbose (and occasionally even eloquent), but you have rendered me speechless! That is truly extraordinary! If you hadn't told me it WASN'T an FW model I would never have even thought to question it!

What did you use as a base? Or did you just start out with a wire frame?

The timing is also great, I am in a Kroot mood at the moment as I just spent most of the day painting up a squad of Kroot Mercenaries to join my Ordos Xenos army, this is just the sort of inspiration I need to get up bright and early to finish the hunter Kindred...

As an aside, your forum avatar is one of the cutest things I have seen in a while...

Thats really impressive there mate :) The leather looks fine in my opinion and it fits the idea, i would've gone for a slightly more darker tone of leather but its no biggy thats just a mather of taste. Im glad somebody shares the interest in Kroot and its critters, shame they removed these mini's out of their collection, the Kroot simply look badass. Hope to see more of your sculpting/painting work in the future!
