View Full Version : Not sure if the person I was facing was cheating with his Imperial Knight...

Well he said my nurgle plague swords could not hurt his Imperial Knight with touch of rust due to the Invincible Behemoth special rule but I don't see where it said rules that reduce Hall points by special rules in there I always assumed the rule only ever affected stuff like scarabs from Necrons where they can permanently lower the AV value of a unit so I am going to say this person cheated because 13 plague bearers and a herald of nurgle rolling 6 about 6 times would be funny because the knights leg just rusted and fell off :P

I suggest reading the rules.

You're correct that "cause a glancing hit on an armor penetration roll of 6" has nothing to do with "attacks or special abilities that permanently lower the Armour Values of a target vehicle do not affect a Super-heavy vehicle." Touch of Rust works just fine.

Or just maybe misunderstood. Which is why you look it up and say "hey, you're wrong".

Yeah, "hey you're wrong."
"No, I'm right."
"Alright, 4+ move on. Look up after game is over."

That mechanic of rolling off a disagreement is always terrible since a WAAC or just ignorant opponent can deny a rule, which is stated in the book plain as day then have a 50% chance of breaking said rule just because they decided -that- was the day it didn't work for them.

Uhhh... no it works quite fine, because if that person makes you roll off every time, you learn not to ever play with that person ever again. aaaaaand you tell all your friends not to play with that person.
