The Drankanian 12th - Guard Night Ops

Hi guys,

I'm making a bunch of modular Guard figures equipped for night ops. I see them as relatively lightly armed compared to other regiments. They'll still have mobile support units, but am probably going to work out a list with no tanks. Still lots of ideas floating around and am going to start refining the units over the next few days.

In the mean time I've put together a test figure. Equipped with night vision and a bulpup Las-carbine.

Head and arms are separate to allow posing.

Sized to fit with plastic guard. All the metal parts are sculpted by me and cast by me too :)

That is a lot work for a guy with a 5+ armour save. Still, that's exactly the look I would expect from a night ops guy. I'd love to see him painted up.

Hi Guys,

I've got another trooper done and also the squad leader. I'll do a set of arms with pistol and sword option too.

Also worked on the a missile launcher, just need another "crew member" to carry the ammo. Gone for more of an RPG look on this. Still a little more work to do on this though.

And we also have another Support Weapon. This time its an Area Effect Rifle. Issued to select special ops units this is a multi barrelled, high powered, portable Las rifle design to lay down covering fire for advancing units.

Are those folding bipod legs along the lascarbine barrels? If so, you should do at least one with the legs down - maybe for a squad sharpshooter?
