All right, everyone. You led me astray for Kill Team night, but that doesn't mean your wisdom is entirely without merit. The final night of the campaign is coming up, and I need 1k of Blood Angels to pair up with a buddy's 1k of Imperial Guard. Here's what I'm thinking, then I'll describe what my buddy is bringing:
HQ
• Reclusiarch (Jump)
Troops
• 10 Death Company, 1 Power Fist
• 5 Scouts w/Camo Cloaks, Sniper Rifles, 1 Missile Launcher
Allied
• 1 Knight Errant
Remember, this will be in a Cities of Death environment with parts of the ceiling falling in as the hive crumbles around us.
My teammate's list isn't nailed down yet because we're not sure if this will be before or after the new IG 'dex drops, but he's thinking three to four veteran squads with plasma guns mounted in chimeras and either some artillery (colossi), a leman russ executioner to accompany the knight, or a couple of hellhounds to accompany the death company.
I think my list would be insane in a straight-up 1k game, but in a team game where I can count on my infantry-loving teammate to score objectives, I think it just might work... what do you think?
