has anyone else noticed that the new plastic trygon is really small compared to the FW version. i know it is plastic and way cheaper but it doesn't look that much bigger than the carnifex and yes i have seen it in real life.

The phrase "You get what you pay for" comes to mind. It is still an awesome model, I have seen it, as well.

You said it yourself. FORGE WORLD. If it was as big as that then it would probably be like 40 quid. And it is the perfect size for transporting to the store and back.

Isn't the FW one on a bigger base as well?
In the test games I played I got to see my FW Trygon sitting right next to one of the new plastic ones. They're exactly the same height and roughly the same width. The plastic one didn't have any arms, but I'm guessing those will be about the same too. It's a very pretty kit.
Oh, and the FW one doesn't come with a base. Mine is mounted on a 5" blast. The plastic one comes on a smaller oval base.

The forgeworld trygon is a bit big for standard games, which is why i think gw lowered the size.
