Got the egg from a toy shop, was some dinosaur with a card thing. Only cost me £2.50 :)

Fuzz - i wouldn't worry mate as theirs rules for the landing spores in the new codex :)

That thing is awesome, love how the tentacles are flailing around. Gives it a nice vicious living creature wildly falling from the sky kinda feel.

Cheers for the comments :), That spore in that link looks funny as lol. I do like the armor nosecone though, might ad some chitin type armor to the next one i make ( think its going to be lodged halfway through a wall :D )

That looks awesome Nicho, paint it up and I would be honoured to have it grace any battlefield I was playing on! Heck, I'd be honoured with it as it is!

a couple of years before that GW spore build article there was another where the spore was made more i the shape of an almond or peach pit, it actually looked really good, but I've never been able to find the original article.

I'll try and make one and post some pics here later. (no promises...I have a 2 yr old)

I'll porb paint it up tomorrow :) Had a game with the new rules today and used it with a fex in it. It was quite funny to watch my mates face when i dropped it in and the fex jumped out and plasma'd some of his marines :). The mawloc rocks too

Nicho, those tentacles are EXACTLY what I envisioned for my pods, just couldn't think of how to do it.
